OXJAMBRUM PRESENT: THE TAKEOVER 2011
ADVANCE TICKETS ARE JUST £6 WITH NO BOOKING FEE..
After raising over £6,000 for Oxfam last year, OxjamBrum will once again be Taking Over across Birmingham City Centre. With over 25 acts featuring at 7 venues, including some of the very best in local artists, this year is shaping up to be really special.
AND, if that’s not enough, although the Takeover will wind down after midnight – it doesn’t mean you’ll have to go to bed! Head on over to the official Oxjam Afterparty at the newly renovated Birmingham Ballroom (formerly the Academy / Hummingbird) for a very special set by one of Birmingham’s most exciting acts, The Bluebeat Arkestra, with local hero Josh Mooney (Tantrums, Rag & Bone) spinning the best in Indie and Alternative until late in The Other Room.

WHAT IS OXJAM?
Oxjam is a music festival made up of hundreds of events around the UK in October. These events are organised by people who know and love their local music scene. All in aid of Oxfam.
Following on from the brilliant job carried out by the OxjamBrum team in 2010, we are pleased to announce that we will be looking for new volunteers to team up with the best venues and artists in the city (and beyond!) to make this the best Oxjam yet.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
If you’d like to get involved with the festival that knocks the nation’s socks off in the name of fighting poverty the first thing you should do is contact us to find out how you can help. The videos below may give you an insight into just how fulfilling being part of the team could be!
